The tutorial is designed for a college-level students in Web development. My focus is on the basic structure and use of the JavaScript language, the Document Object Model, and its application to XHTML page components to create dynamic Web Pages. Its not full coverage of JavaScript. It does, though, provide a basic toolkit of approaches to illustrate possibilities. The tutorial assumes general familiarity with programming methods and common language constructs. It also assumes working knowledge of XHTML and good familiarity with Cascading Style Sheets.
